FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.     How much does the program cost?

Tuition for the class is $950.00.  The school will provide the various training supplies that are used in the program.  The student will need to have a T.B. Test prior to the class start date.  They will also need uniforms (scrubs - any color) and a watch with a second-hand.

2.                  What dates are the classes being offered?

Classes are scheduled on an on-going basis.  Usually there is a class scheduled during every month.  You can click on “upcoming classes” on the Home Page of this Website for specific dates and times.

3.                  Will I be able to get in any of the classes that are currently scheduled?

Because we limit the number of students in each of our classes, there may not be openings available in some of them.  It is best to check with us for class availability as soon as you know you are interested in taking the program.

4.                  Why are class sizes limited?

We limit our class sizes so that the student can receive more individual attention.  The program includes a variety of skills to be performed in a lab practice setting as well as at a clinical site.

5.                  How do I sign up for a class?

You can call us at 989-667-8802 and let us know what class date you are interested in.  We can provide you with the necessary information at that time.

6.                  Are there any requirements I must meet to be able to take the class?

You will need the following items to participate in the program:

·        Proof of a Negative TB Test

·        Uniforms (scrubs – any color)

·        Watch with a second hand

·        Walking type shoes

·        Criminal background check

·        Gait belt (optional)

7.                  Where can I get a TB Test?

You can contact your County Health Department or Doctor’s Office.  The cost is usually around $15 to $20.
